Executive Team
Michael Weiss, Chief Executive Officer
Michael's business development and marketing prowess has been a driving force in imagistic's growth over the past eleven years. His knowledge, vision and ability to speak "English, not tech" have helped turn top-tier companies such as Technicolor, Hollywood.com, Network For Good and California Pizza Kitchen into long-term clients. As the Director of all sales and PR efforts Michael’s goal is to guide clients from the initial sales pitch to the eventual launch of their product. His objective is to work with a client to help them realize their vision and create a Web site that inspires, educates and engages end users.
Along with his extensive management, marketing and sales experience, Michael has a background in education and counseling. He's taught at the Crossroads School, Palms Middle School, and Daniel Webster Middle School, all located in Los Angeles. Michael is a contributor for the Nonprofit Technology Network as a speaker at their annual conference and offering his expertise to nonprofits through webinars, online office hours and writing articles. He has also spoken at FS/TEC, Boston University, the Center for Nonprofit Management, Network For Good, Pepperdine University and others. Review his past and present speaking engagements here.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston University, and earned a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola-Marymount University. He is on the Advisory Boards for The Ojai Foundation and The Wildwoods Foundation.
Kevin Goldberg, Chief Technology Officer / Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer at imagistic, Kevin directs the company's internal operations with an eye toward efficiency, simplicity, and world-class client service.
With twenty years of experience in the technology industry, Kevin has led imagistic to many successfully launched projects for clients such as the ACLU, Franchise Services, Inc., Move.com and Reed Publishing; ensuring that technology choices are carefully weighed against many factors, including business objectives, user expectations, and existing infrastructures.
Before starting imagistic in 1997, Kevin held senior positions in multi-million dollar video game divisions at Film Roman and Lionsgate (previously Trimark). Previously, he served as Lead Software Engineer at Philips Interactive Media, where one of his innovations resulted in an ADPCM compression / decompression scheme which doubled the sound effects storage capacity for all CD-i titles.
Kevin serves on the Santa Monica College Computer Science and Information Systems Advisory Board. In 2006, he was invited to speak at the ACLU Nationwide Staff Conference as a Web development and production expert.
Kevin holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, he is a candidate for a master's degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Kevin Goldberg recently authored the book, "XML: Visual QuickStart Guide (2nd Edition)." The critically acclaimed book was published in December, 2008 by Peachpit Press.
