Web Developer - Full-time Position
Web Designer/Graphic Artist - Contract Position

Web Developer - Full-time


Responsibilities:

  • Write detailed, thorough, well-tested, consistently commented, and source controlled code
  • Compose functional and technical project specification documents
  • Manage schedules and deliverables for multiple, concurrent projects with both short- and long-term project schedules
  • Diligently work with source control, task management, bug, issue, and time tracking applications
  • Adhere to specified programming standards and protocols
  • Deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Work well with project managers, developers, clients, artists, integrators, and other Web development resources

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years programming experience in Web development

Skills:

  • 2 years experience with Drupal CMS including custom module development
  • Experience with other PHP based frameworks (CiviCRM, Wordpress)
  • Required programming languages/database systems: LAMP stack
  • Expert-level knowledge of client-side programming (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Work with image development, production, and slicing software (e.g., Photoshop)
  • Strong working knowledge of browser idiosyncrasies
  • Ability to write system documentation and detailed technical and/or functional specifications
  • Knowledge of client-server methodologies, including standard operating systems, Web server software
  • Testing and other quality assurance experience
  • Review and evaluation of a project's technical requirements
  • Generation of task lists, hours estimates, assumptions, and responses
  • Experience in Web production, including a knowledge of Microsoft Project / roadmap applications, Visio / Axure, and other current Web production technologies

Web Designer/Graphic Artist - Contract Position


Requirements:

  • Smart, creative, team-oriented Web Designer/Graphic artists with strong typographic, animation, layout and interface design skills to develop and provide design support throughout various stages of a Web project
  • Must be of intermediate to advanced skill level
  • Must possess extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
  • Superior design skills in terms of color, typography, texture, and visual effects
  • Background in online design, information design, and/or interactive design are essential
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Flash, and their restrictions and strengths, although knowing how to write code is not required
  • Agency experience a plus
