VENICE, CALIFORNIA - November 11, 2002 - Internet software and services firm Imagistic (www.imagistic.com) has launched a newly designed Web site for the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis. The non-profit foundation raises significant funds directed at finding the causes and cure for Multiple Sclerosis, or MS. MS is a disease of the central nervous system in which the insulating protective covering (myelin sheath) surrounding the nerves is destroyed or damaged, resulting in interference with the brain's signals to various parts of the body. The disease affects approximately 2.5 million people worldwide and affects women almost twice as often as men.

The new site serves as an outreach tool for the organization's fundraising efforts, inform visitors of upcoming events and suggest ways people can contribute to the cause. In addition, the site serves as a jumping off point for MS sufferers and their families to begin gathering basic information about the disease and obtain additional resources. One of the most notable aspects of the organization is the sponsorship of the Center Without Walls Program. The Center Without Walls Program, funded by The Nancy Davis Foundation For Multiple Sclerosis, has provided support to link together multidisciplinary scientific programs and expertise across the country to advance the understanding of the cause of MS and to develop new treatments. The site allows users to read about the latest research and learn about the researchers involved in the Center Without Walls Program.

In addition, the site features a section of Web links that refer visitors to some of the most current and relevant Multiple Sclerosis related materials, resources and research programs available through the Internet.

Nancy Davis, President and Founder of The Nancy Davis Foundation for MS stated "Hopefully this will help educate all of the doctors and MS patients with the latest MS research". The Foundation's Web site can be found at www.erasems.org.
