Overview:

All Souls, a new television show created by Spelling Entertainment was looking to create some excitement around the show's launch. The show's premise was described as a cross between "ER" and "Friday the 13th."

Solution:

  • Developed the show's highly interactive Flash Web site
  • Leveraged the show's "scary" concept to create a unique viral email that allowed users to admit their friends to the All Soul's hospital. Upon arriving to the site, they would be exposed to creepy and scary vignettes created in Flash
  • The email campaign was sent out to Paramount's mailing list of potential fans

Results:

  • The virtual hospital admissions email was sent to many thousands of fans and created a strong ongoing mechanism for promoting the new show.
